Max Bezaire joined the Centre as a Research Associate in 2021, initially hired as a CICan CleanTech intern.
As a Research Associate, Max is responsible for coordinating the execution of applied research projects and contributing to the day-to-day operations of the Centre, including supporting the technologists in instrumentation to complete experiments, and mentoring student research assistants.
Max joined the Centre after graduating from University of Ottawa with his Honours degree in Chemistry. While there, Max worked in The Newman Lab where he received hands on experience with specialized instrumentation such as the GC-MS. He also worked as a Clonal Gene Bank Technician with Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada.
