The Centre for Natural Products & Medical Cannabis

The Centre for Natural Products and Medical Cannabis (CNPMC) is an innovation hub within Loyalist College with expertise in plant-based technologies.

The CNPMC specializes in working with start-ups and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to transform research results into high-quality and innovative products. 

The CNPMC is part of a network of 60 NSERC-funded Technology Access Centres (TACs).

What is a TAC?

Technology Access Centres (TACs) offer R&D support services accessible to all entrepreneurs and innovators across Canada to contribute to developing a more inclusive innovation economy.

TAC members are the foremost leaders in college applied research and assisting Canadian entrepreneurs in developing new innovative products and solutions using technology.

How the CNPMC Supports SMEs as a TAC

Industry partners come to the CNPMC seeking solutions  for product development, new ideas testing, analytical testing and validation, equipment demonstration and testing, compliance and documentation expertise, and skilled workforce training.
